Wariness For Jedite
One spring morning upon the Moon Kingdom, a young 8-year-old blonde boy with his hair cut short & green eyes was warily watching five 4-year-old princesses practicing their ballet dancing, he watched on as the long raven haired brown eyed princess in a red leotard did a perfect plie but when her blue haired blue eyed friend tried to do a piroette, Princess Raye of Mars as well as her other 3 friends, Princesses Serena of the Moon, Lita of Jupiter, & Mina of Venus were all knocked down.
"Amy you klutzoid jinx," Jedite heard the Martian Princess yell at the Mercurian Princess. "look where you are going next time would you!"
"I'm sorry everyone," Princess Amy of Mercury wept bitterly. "it appears that slow & graceful dancing as well as ice skating are not my forte!"
The Mercurian girl is terrible at dancing! Jedite thought with a content chuckle as 9-year-old came upstairs to the door to the queen's ballet classroom where he found Jedite was standing warily watching the raven haired heiress to the Martian throne.
"I only wish that I could talk to the Martian Princess," Jedite shyly sighed. "she is so amazing."
"Then why don't you?" Nephlite asked startling his 8-year-old friend.
"No way Nephlite," Jedite said. "she's too busy plus I'm as shy as our weary Mercurian decended friend, Zoisite, I cannot talk to the Martian Princess!"
"Okay, everyone is free to go except for Princess Amy of Mercury," Queen Serenity said. "it appears that ballet class has only begun for her."
"Serena & I would be glad to stay after class with Amy." Princess Lita said.
"Yes Mother," Princess Serena said. "Lita & I would be happy to help Amy practice her ballet."
"That's good," Princess Mina of Venus teased as she and Raye left for their bedchambers. "because that hopeless loser needs all the help she can get!"
"Now is your chance to talk to the Martian Princess," Nephlite whispered. "follow her to her bedchamber while I help the Moon & Jupiter Princesses encourage their Mercurian friend to keep on trying to dance!" Nephlite then went into the ballet classroom as Jedite followed Princess Raye of Mars to her bedchamber to try to introduce himself to her.
The Princess Meets Her Lord
Princess Raye of Mars had changed from her red ballet leotard into 1 of her red silk gowns and was now sitting at her vanity putting on a ruby pendant which she got from her parents, Queen Gaia & King Deimos of Mars before the the palace on Mars, Phobos Deimos Castle burned down to ashes with Mars's king & queen inside it.
Jedite slowly walked into Raye's bedchamber as if he was entranced in a staggering motion sitting on her bed.
"Mother... Father... why on Mars did you leave me?" Princess Raye asked nearly crying as Jedite stood up and walked over to the sad Martian Princess and put his left hand upon her right shoulder in order to comfort her.
"Do not be sad Princess Raye of Mars," Jedite said trembling nervously. "for you are not the only person who has lost someone close to you, for you see, I had lost my father when I was only a newborn baby."
"You scared me," Princess Raye called out. "who are you and what are you doing in my bedchamber!"
"My name is Jedite." Jedite said embracing Princess Mars.
Princess Raye's heart began beating so fast, she wondered what was causing it to beat so fast... and why was her heart beating so fast?
Being With You
Now Lord Jedite & Princess Raye were outside the ballet classroom watching Princess Amy try to ballet dance with Lord Nephlite.
Poor Nephlite. both Princess Raye & Jedite thought as they heard the 9-year-old shitennou scream out in pain.
"Ouch, my foot, you squashed my foot," Nephlite screamed. "you will never play the main character in Queen Serenity's ballet, the Princess of Luna Lake because every time you dance you end up hurting somebody!"
"I'm... sorry Nephlite." Princess Amy sobbed.
"You are an accident waiting to happen," Nephlite groaned as he limped to a chair to sit down. "Mercurians cannot ice skate or dance alone without klutzing out or hurting other people!"
Raye & Jedite ducked out of sight as Queen Serenity entered the ballet classroom to find out if Princess Amy had made any progress with her ballet dancing.
"How is she doing?" Queen Serenity asked Princess Serena.
"Amy is still clumsy Mother," Raye & Jedite heard Princess Serena answer from hiding behind a potted plant. "and I have no clue as to the reason why."
"I know the reason why Mercurians cannot dance or ice skate alone like the rest of us can." Princess Lita of Jupiter said.
"What are you saying Lita?" Queen Serenity asked the Princess of Jupiter.
"It is an issue with confidence Majesty," Nephlite answered just before Princess Lita could even speak. "you see, Mercurians like Princess Amy trust other Mercurians or Mercurian descended Earthlings such as Zoisite to slow dance & ice skate with them because they don't have any comfidence within themselves to dance or ice skate alone because of their fear of people watching them."
"I see, so Amy needs Zoisite to do slow & graceful dances such as ballet with her," Queen Serenity said. "we will find Zoisite taking a siesta beneath the Sakura tree in my back courtyard."
Jedite & Princess Raye came out from their hiding place.
"He is not taking a nap under your cherry tree Majesty," Jedite spoke up. "Raye & I both know where Zoisite can be found."
"If he is not under my Sakura tree," Queen Serenity asked impatiently. "then where is Zoisite?"

Retrieving Lord Zoisite
"Jedite & I saw the 6-year-old lord with 8-year-old Prince Darien & 16-year-old Lord Malachite in the royal library." Princess Raye of Mars said before Jedite could speak.
"Studying was he?" Queen Serenity said as Princess Amy tried doing a plie but fell flat on her bottom.
"Oh, I should probably design the costumes for the show anyway," Princess Amy sighed sadly. "since I shall not be dancing, and I was even hoping for the part of the female lead."
"Don't worry Amy," Serena said. "you will get your confidence again."
"Yeah," Princess Lita had agreed. "for Jedite will go to the royal library and retrive Lord Zoisite for you."
"He will?" Princesses Raye & Amy asked, Raye in disbelief and Amy with hoprfulness.
"I will?" Jedite asked unwillingly staring into Princess Lita's determined green eyes.
"Yes you will," Lita said with fierce determination. "besides, we also need a male lead to play the Starlight Prince in the ballet anyway."
"Okay," Jedite said. "I'll go and get Zoisite from the library."
"And I guess I will go with him." Princess Raye said.
"Thank you Raye," Amy said. "you are 1 of the greatest friends a Mercurian girl could ever have."
Princess Raye & Jedite found Prince Darien and Lords Malachite & Zoisite were still in the library studying combat stances when they had arrived.
"Malachite, would you mind if we borrowed Zoisite for a little while," Jedite said. "it's very important."
"What for?" Malachite & Prince Darien asked in unison.
"Cannot say," Princess Raye answered. "all we can say is that the problem has to do with Amy!"
Amy & Zoisite The Ballet Leads
Now Zoisite's panic button had been pushed, "Something has happened to Amy, take me to her at once!" he said stand up from the library table quickly.
"Zoisite, need I remind you that we are in a library and you need to be quiet?" Malachite whispered harshly to the 6-year-old youth.
"Sorry Malachite," Zoisite whispered back in a panicked manner. "news about Amy has come to my attention plus, I'm worried about her!"
"Then go and do whatever it is that you have to do Zoisite," Prince Darien said. "Malachite & I can finish doing research all by ourselves."
Jedite, Princess Raye, and Zoisite were running through the hallways trying to get to the ballet classroom, when they finally made it, Zoisite found his princess sitting in a chair, she was worn out from falling on her bottom and trying her hardest to dance like the other princesses in the palace.
"Now is your chance Zoisite," Princess Raye whispered pushing Zoisite forward. "ask Amy if she would like to dance with you."
"But I'm too shy." Zoisite protested.
"Now's not the time to be shy," Jedite pointed out. "simply go over there and ask her to dance!"
Zoisite walked up to Princess Amy and bowed politely, "May I have the honor of this dance?" he asked her.
Amy looked as though she didn't know what to say, "I am honored to dance with you Master Zoisite." she answered standing up.
Zoisite led the Mercurian Princess into a slow ballet dance, at the end of the dance, Queen Serenity, Princesses Serena & Lita, and Lord Nephlite were clapping their hands.
"Bravo," Queen Serenity exclaimed. "we now have our 2 leads, the Princess of Luna Lake will be played by our very own Princess Amy of Mercury, and the Prince of Pacifica will be played by Earth's very own Lord Zoisite!"
Everyone was still clapping their hands and Princess Raye of Mars & Lord Jedite looked at Princess Amy of Mercury & Lord Zoisite in a very jealous manner for stealing their parts in the ballet.
Blinded By Jealousy Part 1
Princess Raye and Jedite were in the Martian Princess's bedchamber venting out their anger.
"Who does that little brat think she is," the Martian Princess exclaimed referring to Princess Amy of Mercury. "taking all I've worked so hard for and living my dream, oh is that Mercurian Brat going to get it!"
"Zoisite will get it too," Jedite said jealously. "that little rat fink is going down!"
Fuelled by their anger & their jealousy, Raye & Jedite began to undergo a dramatic transformation turning themselves into very hideous monsters.
"How will we knock those 2 little Mercurians out like lights?" Youma Princess Raye asked Youma Jedite.
"I've got it, purple flower brooches!" Youma Jedite answered.
"What?" Youma Princess Raye asked.
"It is simple," Youma Jedite answered. "using these simple flower shaped brooches, we shall trick those Mercurian fools into putting them on, once they're in sleep mode, we take the spotlight from them!"
"I like the way you think!" Youma Princess Raye laughed evilly.
Outside in the front courtyard of the Moon Palace, Princess Amy of Mercury & Lord Zoisite were practicing their dance steps before Prince Darien had offered the thirsty dancers some of Princess Lita & Lord Nephlite's icy mint lemonade, a perfect drink to go with a springtime picnic lunch
Blinded By Jealousy Part 2
"Oh my," Zoisite exclaimed. "Master, these sandwiches are really great, did you make them, oh I could eat another quater of a sandwich!"
"Yes I did make the sandwitches, your friend, Lita made the potato salad & the triple fudge brownies, & all Nephlite could come up with was the mint lemonade you guys are drinking." Prince Darien said pouring a cup of ice cold mint lemonade for Princess Amy.
"Thank you Darien." Princess Amy said as Prince Darien set the lemonade picher on the picnic blanket and the other 4 princesses and 3 shitennou came & sat down with their friends and Raye & Jedite held something in their hands for Amy & Zoisite.
"What is this within my hand?" the Mercurian Princess asked.
"I have 1 of those kinds of packages too," Zoisite said. "odd."
"Mercurians." Nephlite muttered under his breath.
"Why don't you open it?" Raye & Jedite asked Amy & Zoisite.
"Hold it you guys," Princess Serena told Amy & Zoisite. "I sense something truly evil about these packages!"
"Whatever you guys do," Princess Lita warned. "do not open these packages!"
Zoisite didn't even listen to the warnings of Malachite, Prince Darien, Nephlite, Princesses Serena, Lita, or Mina the way Princess Amy had done and opened his present from Raye & Jedite anyway.
"Wow, a lucky flower pin, I should wear it!" Zoisite exclaimed putting the purple flower pin on his blue shirt.
"Zoi-chan no!" Princess Amy called, for just as Zoisite pinned the flower to his shirt, the pin's potent scent.
One moment later, Zoisite fell to the ground locked within a deep siesta

Blinded By Jealousy Part 3
"Zoisite!" Princess Amy called getting a whiff of the dangerous flower pin that Zoisite was wearing and falling under its evil eye herself.
"Amy no!" Malachite called.
"Mercury, Zoisite!" everyone else except for Princess Raye & Jedite called out kneeling around the sleeping pair.
"Who would dare to do this?" Princess Serena asked as Malachite lifted up Princess Amy's head and propped it upon his left knee as she slept.
"These poor children." Malachite said.
Suddenly, Jedite & Princess Raye of Mars turned into youma and began fighting off all of whom were trying to protect the sleeping Mercurians.
"Master Darien, Princess Serena," Malachite called. "get the rest of your friends to safety while I fight these youma!"
"Don't hurt them Malachite," Princess Serena warned while she & Prince Darien fled with the other including the sleeping Mercurian twosome. "after all, they are still Raye & Jedite underneath!"
"Don't worry Princess Serena I won't hurt them," Malachite called back. "I know what I'm doing!"
"Chui deshai!" Prince Darien called after his oldest friend & general.
The Leads In The Ballet Recast
The next day after everyone had defeated the jealous youma that were created by Princess Raye & Jedite's jealousy of the Mercurian pair, Princess Amy & Zoisite, the Moon Queen had some bad news to start off her ballet class.
"Class, it appears that Princess Amy & Lord Zoisite have caught some sort of mysterious sleeping illness, so the role of the Princess of Luna Lake will be played by Amy's understudy, Princess Raye of Mars, and the role of the Prince of Pacifica will be played by Zoisite's understudy, Earth's very own Lord Jedite." Queen Serenity announced sadly.
Princesses Serena, Lita, & Mina, Prince Darien, as well as Lords Nephlite & Malachite all applauded for the Martian Princess & her Martian descended lord for getting to play the lead roles.
Princess Raye & Lord Jedite had a sinking queasy feeling in their stomachs, the kind of feeling that one gets when they know that they have done something terribly wrong.
"Now everybody, applaud louder, Raye & Jedite deserve it!" Queen Serenity cheered.
The rest of the class applauded louder and lauder for Princess Raye & Lord Jedite for playing the lead parts in the ballet which made their stomach aches a little worse.
"Raye my love," Jedite said to the 1 princess he truly loved. "you know what we have to do right now, do you not?"
"Yes I do," Raye sighed not feeling jealous anymore but now feeling guilty. "we have to tell Queen Serenity the truth about how Amy & Zoisite caught the mysterious sleeping illness
Raye & Jedite Admit The Truth
Everyone was still applauding for them as Princess Raye & Lord Jedite stood in front of the class in order to confess what they had done to Princess Amy & Lord Zoisite.
"Thank you everyone," Princess Raye said. "but we don't deserve the parts of the prince & princess."
Everyone in the room gasped.
"What do you mean you don't deserve the lead parts?" Queen Serenity asked the princess & her lord.
"You see Majesty," Jedite admitted. "Raye's & my jealousy got the better of us & our jealousy made us transform into youma, and at lunch time yesterday, we gave these purple flower pins." Jedite showed Queen Serenity one of the flower brooches that were presented to Princess Amy & Lord Zoisite.
"So you cheated so that you could play the lead dancers?" Queen Serenity asked.
"Yes we did, and we feel terrible about what we've done to Amy & Zoisite." Raye said.
"And we feel ultra terrible for ruining the ballet performance for everyone else involved." Jedite said bowing his head in shame.
"Yeah," Princess Lita said wanting to pick a fight. "well you should be!"
"That will be enough of that," Queen Serenity told Princess Lita. "what we really need to do here is try to figure out a way to reawaken Princess Amy of Mercury & Lord Zoisite of Earth & Mercury from their siesta in time for the recital next week."

Appearance Of Guardian Mercury
Somewhere within the 5 days after Princess Raye & Jedite had told the truth to the Moon Queen, Queen Serenity, Princesses Serena, Lita, & Raye, Nephlite, and Prince Darien went into the Moon Palace's prayer room to try to contact the guardian of Mercury's royal family, as well as the same guardian of Zoisite's paternal family members, Guardian Mercury.
"Guardian Mercury, yours is the guidance that we seek, would you help us?" Queen Serenity asked.
A tiny sprite in a blue sailor soldier's uniform appeared before everyone in the prayer room.
"I will always be here to protect my princess as well as my young lord, Zoisite," the small blue haired blue eyed guardian told Queen Serenity. "so, why have I been summoned, what could you use my assistance with?"
"Oh please Miss Guardian Mercury," Princess Serena said. "Princess Amy of Mercury as well as the son of the late Sir Morpheus of Mercury, Lord Zoisite are in the gravest of danger!"
"What has happened to them?" Guardian Mercury asked fearing for the lives of the young princess & lord that she'd promised the late Queen Hermione she would 1 day protect & watch over.
"You see Your Guardianship," Princess Lita pleaded. "we require your wisdom because both Amy & Zoisite have taken a whiff of a very poisonous flower..."
"It wasn't a Goldenrod blossom was it?" Guardian Mercury asked in a frantic tone of voice.
"No, this is the flower that had done our 2 friends in." Princess Lita said finishing her sentence finally.
"Oh no," Guardian Mercury called out. "this cannot be!"
Guardian Mercury's Instructions
"Cannot be what," Princess Raye & Lord Jedite asked in terror. "cannot be what?"
"This plant comes from the Dark Kingdom!" Guardian Mercury shouted.
"Oh no," Jedite stated. "this is bad!"
"We know it's bad Jedite," Nephlite said. "but how will all of us awaken the sleeping Mercurians, Malachite & Princess Mina of Venus are over in the royal infirmary watching over them."
"All of you oh I do not think so," Guardian Mercury said in disbelief folding her arms across her chest. "Only 2 of you I'll need to reawaken Princess Amy & Lord Zoisite."
"What do you mean you'll only 2 of us in order to reawaken our dreaming friends," Jedite asked defiantly. "and who are they?"
"I shall need only the assistance of Jupiter Princess Lita and the son of the late Sir Phoebus of Jupiter & Lady Ruby of Earth, Young Lord Nephlite." Guardian Mercury answered as Princess Lita & Lord Nephlite stepped forward.
"What will we need to do?" both the Jupiter Princess & her lord asked.
"My only instructions for you are that in order to reawaken your sleeping Mercurian friends," Guardian Mercury said. "you will have to sing together."
"Us?" Princess Lita asked in disbelief.
"Sing together?" Nephlite asked also in disbelief.
"Yes," Guardian Mercury said fading from sight. "your voices are strongest when they are united."
"Wait come back, we do not understand your riddle," the 9-year-old lord & the 4-year-old Jupiterian Princess asked running after Guardian Mercury. "what do you mean?"
Prophecy Of Doom Part 1
Queen Serenity, Princesses Serena, Lita, & Raye, and Lords Jedite & Nephlite ran to the royal infirmary to find Princess Mina of Venus & Lord Malachite were still watching over the sleeping Princess Amy of Mercury & Lord Zoisite.
"What is the report, Mina?" Lord Jedite asked worried for the safety of both Princess Amy & Zoisite.
"They are acting as if they are delirious," Princess Mina answered Lord Jedite. "but we all know Amy & Zoisite all too well, they are only talking in their sleep."
"Although we don't know what to do, once earlier on, I heard Zoi-chan groan in pain as if he had been hit pretty darn hard by an attack of some kind." Malachite said urgently.
"The same thing goes for Amy, I had seen her trembling in her sleep in the very same manner as Zoisite!" Princess Mina said.
"YOU ARE LUCKY SAILOR MERCURY," Zoisite yelled in his sleep. "YOU HAVE ESCAPED MY ATTACK THIS TIME, ALTHOUGH I SHALL ASSURE YOU THAT YOU WILL NOT BE ESCAPING MY ATTACKS AGAIN!"
"What does Zoisite mean by 'Sailor Mercury,' Amy like the rest of us princesses hasn't yet awakened to protect the galaxy." Princess Serena observed.
"OH I WILL DEFEAT YOU ZOISITE," Princess Amy yelled in her sleep. "IN THE NAME OF THE PLANET MERCURY, OUR FRIENDSHIP IS TERMINATED, AND SO WE ARE NOW ENEMIES!"
"Lita & I have both seen Amy & Zoisite get like this before." Lord Nephlite said.
"Yes, their bodies moving violently and their words & voices full of vile hatred," Princess Lita asked. "just what can we do about their nightmares this time?"
"For the answer to that question Lita," Queen Serenity answered. "Princess Raye & Lord Jedite must do a fire reading in the sacred fire reading room."
Prophecy Of Doom Part 2
"The rest of you race off to the fire reading room," Nephlite called. "Amy & Zoisite are in capable hands!"
"Nephlite & I will be fine," Princess Lita called. "we will look after Amy & Zoisite while the rest of you are researching the nightmare that they are sharing!"
"Be super wary," Queen Serenity warned Princess Lita & Lord Nephlite. "with this nightmare Amy & Zoisite are having right now, it could be very dangerous not just for Amy & Zoisite but for the people around them as well."
"We will be careful," Princess Lita & Nephlite said. "don't you worry about a thing Majesty."
Over in the fire reading room, Queen Serenity, Princesses Serena & Mina, Prince Darien, and Lord Malachite all watched intently as Princess Raye & Lord Jedite began to read the sacred flame.
"Oh sacred fire," Princess Raye & Lord Jedite said. "we seek your guidance, please tell us what the Mercurians' nightmare means!"
The sacred flame had just begun showing everyone visions of the Moon & Earth Kingdoms within 10 years of time being pitted against one another in a great war, the Sailor Scouts & Prince Darien were fighting off an evil queen named Queen Beryl as well as the shitennou, Jedite, Nephlite, Zoisite, & Malachite trying to protect Princess Serena.
"I don't believe what I am seeing," Princess Raye exclaimed as the vision in the sacred flame faded away. "were those visions just now in fact what Amy & Zoisite are dreaming about in their nightmare, is this what our future will really be like?"
"Yeah," Lord Jedite asked. "with the exception of Serena & Darien, within 10 years time, will Malachite, Zoisite, Nephlite, & I possibly be enemies of you, Princesses Serena, Amy, Lita, & Mina, as well as be enemies of Prince Darien?"
The Song Of Lita & Nephlite
"No that definitely will not be happening," Princess Serena exclaimed. "we have the power to control our own destinies!"
"And that goes triple for Amy & Zoisite." Princess Raye said.
"But Raye," Jedite said. "we have got to go back to the royal infirmary and tell Lita & Nephlite what we all have learned about our future from the sacred flame!"
"Jedite is right," Queen Serenity said. "we will definitely have to warn Princess Lita as well as Nephlite all about what the 8 of you will be in for within 10 years time."
All 7 of them raced back to the royal infirmary where they all knew that Princess Lita & Lord would be watching over the destructive dreamers, Princess Amy of Mercury & Lord Zoisite.
"MERCURY BUBBLES BLAST!" Princess Amy yelled in her sleep attacking Zoisite as Sailor Mercury in their nightmare.
"ZOI!" Zoisite yelled back in his sleep within their nightmare firing Sakura blossoms at Sailor Mercury.
Queen Serenity saw Princess Amy trembling and heard her groaning as if she'd been in pain.
"Lita & Nephlite," Queen Serenity called. "your chance has now come, now is the time that you both must sing and reawaken Princess Amy & Lord Zoisite from their unpleasant nightmare!"
"But Majesty," Princess Lita & Nephlite protested. "we both have no idea what Guardian meant by 'Your voices are strongest when they are united,' how can we sing to them when we do not understand the Mercury guardian's riddle?"
"Guardian Mercury meant for you to both sing together to reawaken Amy & Zoisite." Queen Serenity said.
"Oh." Lita & Nephlite said clearing their throats & preparing to sing.
Nephlite: Amy please no don't give in;
Don't give in to the nightmare you are in;
You can change your path;
You can change your fate;
You must change it right now;
Before you're too late.
Now it was Princess Lita's turn to sing to Zoisite.
Lita: Zoisite you have to fight;
You must fight for justice to win;
You must be courageous to try to defeat;
The evil in this nightmare tonight to be free;
If I could I would assist you in trying to change your fate;
There'll be no way I can do it before it comes to be too late.
Amy & Zoisite slowly opened their eyes to see their friends crowded around them in the royal infirmary.
"Majesty," Amy & Zoisite said. "you have your lead dancers back again."

A Performance To Remember
"You both cannot dance right now," Queen Serenity said gently to Amy & Zoisite. "we will perform the ballet when you are well once again."
"But Majesty," Princess Amy asked. "what about Raye & Lord Jedite, can't they go onstage for us?"
"Yes can they please," Zoisite begged the Moon Queen weakly. "after all, Princess Raye & Jedite are a billion times better than we are, at least they can dance alone."
Queen Serenity looked into the 6-year-old shitennou's soft green eyes, "I don't see why they cannot take your place after all, they are your understudies." she sighed.
"I promise I will make you proud Amy," Princess Raye said. "and I'm so sorry that I teased you about your ice skating and your slow & graceful dancing."
"Thank you Raye," Amy said. "and apology accepted."
"Zoisite, you & Princess Amy of Mercury will see," Jedite said confidently. "Princess Raye & I will be performing out there just for you, we'll give you guys a performance that you will always remember!"
"Thank you Jedite," Zoisite groaned in pain. "and break a leg."
Sometime during the ballet recital, Princess Amy & Zoisite fell asleep again, but Raye & Jedite didn't mind that at all for they knew that they'd won each other's love and were at the same time, making their Mercurian friends proud of them.
